A blogger’s life is so difficult.
I whine about this to the homeless people I see on the streets and they totally feel me.
Why do we do this to ourselves? The guilt is bullshit. And, I blame my genetics. I’m a super slow reader and bad multi-tasker. Thank GAWD I have killer dance moves or else I’d be a total waste of space.

There are too many blogs. I’m continually upset that virtually no one reads my blog and then complain that people are wasting their time with other poorly written blogs. It’s just wrong.
It just occurred to me that maybe why I don’t have loads of readers is because my blog sucks more. Now I’m totally depressed.

I have see TERRIBLE blogs with tons of readers/comments. I have see FABULOUS blogs go totally ignored. One good fart joke going viral can turn your blog into an overnight sensation. 5 years of amazing full length articles can make you pariah. If all you want is traffic, start making more poop jokes. If you want to make money as a writer, start submitting articles to paying markets. If what you want to do is write stuff you’re proud of, write stuff you’re proud of and F everyone else.
Sorry to use your comment as a soap box but I’m tired of quality people/writers/etc not getting everything they should.

Love this so much. Because seriously, there are SO many good blogs out there. You know what we would be like the best ever, getting paid to write blogs AND to read them. In my pajamas. All day long. While someone else cleaned my house and did my cooking. That would be awesome. Alas, I still live here on planet earth where that is just not possible, so as my good girlfriend says, I do the best I can and it is better than average.
